1. Controller and contact
The operator of TopBargainCart is the controller of personal data processed through this website. Privacy requests can be sent to admin@topbargaincart.com.
2. Scope of the service
TopBargainCart is an affiliate product-discovery website. It does not operate customer accounts, a checkout, payments, shipping or orders. When you select “Buy from partner”, you leave TopBargainCart and the independent retailer becomes responsible for the information it collects under its own privacy notice.
3. Data processed
- Technical and security logs: the hosting platform may process an IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser information and security events to deliver and protect the website.
- Messages: if you contact us, we process your email address, message and any information you choose to provide.
- Affiliate-click statistics: our own counter records only the product ID, date and aggregate number of clicks. It does not store the visitor IP address in the affiliate-click table.
- Administrator data: authentication data and essential cookies are used only for authorised site administration.
4. Purposes and legal bases
Technical logs are processed to provide, secure and troubleshoot the website on the basis of legitimate interests. Contact messages are processed to answer the request and keep necessary correspondence. Aggregate click statistics are used to measure the usefulness of offers and prevent abuse. Analytics or marketing tools that require consent will not be activated for visitors before valid consent is obtained.
5. Recipients and international transfers
Data may be processed by service providers necessary to operate the site, including the hosting provider and WordPress-related technical services, under their applicable terms. Clicking an affiliate link sends you to the selected retailer or affiliate network; that third party may process data and set cookies according to its own notice. Some providers or retailers may process data outside the European Economic Area using the safeguards described in their policies.
6. Retention
Security logs are retained for the period required by the hosting and security services. Contact correspondence is kept only as long as needed to answer the request, establish what was agreed or meet a legal obligation. Daily affiliate-click aggregates may be retained for historical reporting because they do not identify a visitor.
7. Cookies
The public website currently uses only cookies or similar storage that are strictly necessary for security, cache operation or authorised administration. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel are not currently active. If optional analytics or marketing tools are added, they will be blocked until the visitor gives the relevant consent, and this policy and the consent controls will be updated.
After you follow a partner link, the retailer or affiliate network may set its own cookies. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect administrative or security functions but does not prevent browsing the public catalogue.
8. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you may request information, access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it as easily as it was given. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) or the competent authority in your country.
To exercise a right, email admin@topbargaincart.com. We may need enough information to verify the request without collecting unnecessary data.
9. Changes
This policy will be updated when the site starts using new analytics, advertising, contact or account features, or when processors or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
